"In the discipline of law enforcement and the military, let us not forget that real bravery includes seeking help and prioritizing mental health; strength is not just in the mission we serve, but in the peace we cultivate within ourselves."

Our Team

"DARE TO WIN"

Restoring Our Heroes was founded by Dr. Bob Briggs.  Due to the selflessness and generosity of Alan Baier, owner of Little Creek Ranch, ROH has been able to conduct life changing programs for our veterans and first responders.  Partnering with the wonderful people below, all who have attended our "Holes in the Wall" RETREAT, we pledge to continue to grow the programs and offer healing opportunities to our invitees. We Dare to Win!

Our MISSION

Our veterans and first responders suffer trials that no one but those who have been through them can understand.  As a result they are not the same person they were when they started their career, resulting in a struggle to reintegrate back into society.  There comes  a point in each vet/1st responder's life when they must try to make sense of the darkness in their soul and reclaim their own humanity and re-engage with the humanity of others.  Restoring Our Heroes offers a process through its "Hole in the Wall" retreats where our heroes experience healing and transformation in their lives.

Camaraderie at its best!

The signature event of Restoring Our Heroes is its "Holes in the Wall" RETREAT.  These 5-day RETREAT take place at the Little Creek Ranch, a private 1000 acres ranch in western Colorado. Mixed in with private time for sharing and healing, our invitees spend time in activity-based events to include white water rafting, horseback riding, shooting, fishing hiking and attending a local rodeo. When you bring a small group of buddies together who all suffer from over exposure to traumatic events, they make new memories with each other. Those new memories are a form of vicarious post-traumatic growth. This is the intent and vision of Restoring Our Heroes.

"Holes in the Wall" RETREAT

"Restoring Our Heroes loaned us their spirit of community, of gratitude, and of belonging.  They loaned us their soul and helped me remember where I had put mine"
